The U.S. Food and Drug Administration[FDA] has recently approved four vaccines against the 2009 H1N1 influenza virus.FDA has reported these vaccines have induced a strong immune response,usually starting 8-10 days after a single dose.Studies are underway to determine the exact dose in children.Contraindications:Individuals with severe allergic reactions to chicken eggs,should not be vaccinated.
Side effects:The vaccine have been reported to be well tolerated,with the common side effect being pain and soreness at the injection site[for,injectable vaccine].
Other notable side effects being fever,fatigue etc.For the nasal spray, mode of delivery,the common side effects are nasal congestion,sore throat etc.
The vaccines are reported to be distributed,all over United States,within the next four weeks,or so.

Now the decision is... do we trust the FDA? Just look at all the "disclaimers" that go with the pharmacy products on television - up to and including death. I certainly hope they are right about this one!
