Friends, for few weeks,i was getting involved with the Twitter,a bit(read extensively).How to increase Twitter followers,whom to follow,how to make my Twitter page a bit more interactive and so on.The first thing i noticed are some options like 'get thousands of Twitter followers,within 24 hours and so on'.These programmes are all over the internet.But do they really work?Personally i am very apprehensive about them.Moreover Twitter.com has recently cleaned up the artifacts.Therefore these methods will perhaps not act(read surely, not act).

As all of my friends have known and experienced,that like everything else in life,blogging,tweeting are not easy.It requires many sleepless nights, after your day-job:and many Sundays in front of your laptop.
While doing some research about Twitter,somewhat extravagant plan came to me(rather childish,may be,so what,i always give a try).I thought of creating a Twitter profile directory cum blog directory in Blogger.Ok,ok the idea may be little childish,but it's not without rationales.
Firstly two of my favourite platforms are Blogger.com and Twitter.com.Somewhere i wanted to integrate this two, in my own way.Secondly by dropping cards and adgitizing, through those sleepless nights, we all have developed somewhat of a personal bond.And perhaps, the basis of any social network is this bonding.
Secondly,what i realized about gaining Twitter followers is that you have to follow individuals,who have the same interest as yours.Previously,i always followed anybody,who followed me,whether they have any substantial tweets or not.And when i had followed them,they used to un-follow me.
In this Twitter Directory in Blogger,i am intending to create a separate page for each of the Twitter profiles with their Twitter URL,recent updates,categories,tags and a follow link.I am trying to put some HTML snippet,to show the Twitter followers.To this i have also included the blogs associated with the respective Twitter profiles,along with description,tags,categories and a link to the blog.Will be placing a screen-capture view also.I have created Technorati and Delicious tags of the tags associated with the Twitter profile and blog.In the future,if sufficient number if friends get interested with this concept,i'll be categorizing the Twitter profiles for easy search and follow.

Advantages:I think everything hand-made has a human touch to it.Secondly it will be presumably,a directory consisting of the individuals,whose blogs,we visit everyday.Thirdly, there is a recent trend of increasing monetization options in Twitter(you,all know of them),thus a stable number of responsive followers may be beneficial,at least will not harm.Last but definitely not the least in the post i have also added a 'contact for advertising and other services' where you can add your e-mail or contact URL.This may help us too get some advertising options,in the future.
